Project recap: what our tree planting taught us
A reflection on our environment project — the planning, the partners, and what we would do differently.
Over 150 seedlings, one sunny morning, and a team of members who had mostly coordinated online until that day. Our tree planting project was the first large in-person service moment for many members.
What worked
- Partnering with a local school gave us a venue and maintenance plan
- Clear role cards meant volunteers knew exactly what to do
- Documenting the day made follow-up easy
